There is no hiding the fact that life is complicated and confusing and Aleik offers his own experiences and insight in hopes that it could be a vehicle for others to work through their issues and retain the hope that things can always get better, no matter how bad it is in the moment. There is nothing more healing than knowing you are not alone in the world and that sometimes, the most inspiring people have the same issues as you. I like to think that Aleik’s show is a brief therapy session without the pressure, and his content is vulnerable in a way that speaks to the heart.

Did you ever need to emote, connect with others, and have a good time all in one event? An Aleik Maddox performance is the fun equivalent of a shared safe space where crying, laughing, snapping, clapping, and any other way to express is both appreciated and accepted. The spiritual and emotional connection between Aleik and his music is evident in the power of his voice, the heart melting cry of his guitar, and his colorful wardrobe. Born and reared in North Carolina, Aleik has made his way to the Denver Colorado area to spread his music, love, and power shared through transparency and life experiences. Mixing the elements of Rock, Soul, and Funk, his show and stage presence has a little something to offer for everyone in attendance no matter the age, race or religion. Inspired by timeless acts such as Prince, Jimi Hendrix, The Black Pumas and The Killers, Aleik approaches his musical process with humility and authenticity as shown in the videos you can find on his social pages.
In the past year, Aleik has joined forces with companies such as Elan Artists and Sofar Sounds performing and various events including The Denver Derby Party, The 9/11 Stair Climb at Red Rocks, The Rare Steak Festival in Denver, and The Evergreen Fine Arts Festival. In efforts to perform as much as possible, he is capable of solo performances, live band performances, and you can catch him cracking jokes and doing the occasional split along with other iconic dance moves when he has the opportunity.
